We will discuss the items that are contained in an FDD; in particular items that you should pay close attention. You should then review the FDD in complete detail writing down any questions or concerns for discussion with the Franchisor.

The franchise discovery process offers an in-person or virtual Discovery Day event where you have an opportunity to meet with the franchisor’s leadership and support teams.

Kevin is a seasoned franchising professional. He started his working career in advertising both during and after college performing account service work and media planning and buying for a few full-service ad agencies in Jacksonville and Tallahassee Florida. Kevin then decided to move back to his high school town of Charlotte, North Carolina and that is when he began his career in franchising.
In 1997, he was hired as a media planner and buyer for the in-house advertising agency for Meineke Discount Mufflers quarterly placing local advertising fund dollars for franchisees in markets across North America. After spending nearly 7 years with the company as they evolved from Meineke Discount Mufflers into Meineke Car Care Centers, Kevin transitioned from marketing into franchise development and helping people recognize their dreams of business ownership through franchising with the company.
Over the years, he has gained a tremendous wealth of experience leading both established and mature franchise companies and new and emerging franchise brands in the areas of franchise development, operations, legal and compliance spanning a variety of industries and with multiple brands over his nearly 30 year career.
Throughout his career in franchising journey, he has helped hundreds of people find their future in franchising though franchise ownership.
Kevin lives in the Charlotte, NC area with his two teenage children and their mini golden doodles. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling and anything related to a beach.
